Lada Price is a part-time PhD student at the Department of Journalism in the University of Sheffield. After graduating from the Faculty of Journalism at The University of Sofia, she worked at the Bulgarian National Radio as a reporter. She co - presented a programme at one of the first private radio
station in Sofia. While studying in the UK, she worked at the Bulgarian Section of BBC World Service in London as a freelancer. This was followed by a posting to Washington DC as a correspondent for the Bulgarian Service of German radio station Deutsche Welle. She worked as a journalist for ten years before deciding to turn to research. Her study is exploring the changes in the Bulgarian media that have taken and still are taking place (from 1989 until 2007) from the journalists perspective.
