Julian Petley is Professor of Journalism and Screen Media in the School of Arts, Brunel University, and also Chair of the Campaign for Press and Broadcasting Freedom. His main interests are in media policy and regulation, and his most recent publications are Censoring the Moving Image, Censoring the Word and Culture Wars. He is a member of the editorial board of the British Journalism Review and principal editor of the Journal of British Cinema and Television.
